What NumberingData collects when you use it, and what it does not.
Lookups
When you look up a number, it is sent to our server and to a carrier-lookup provider to get the carrier and line type. We cache the result so repeated lookups of the same number do not hit the provider again. We do not keep a record linking a lookup to you.
Reports you submit
A report keeps the number, the category, your text if you wrote any, and a one-way hash of your IP address for abuse control. We do not ask for your name or email, and we do not publish anything about who submitted a report.
What we do not do
We do not publish names or addresses, do not build profiles of people, and do not sell or share lookup data. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site today; if that changes, this page will say what they are and what they collect before they are added.
Cookies
The site works without cookies. Anything we store in your browser is a convenience, such as remembering a filter you chose, and never an identifier shared with anyone else.
